Queen shares video of Crown Prince ‘jumping from plane’

AMMAN — Her Majesty Queen Rania on Tuesday shared a video on her official Facebook page of HRH Crown Prince Hussein fast roping from a helicopter in what seemed to be a military exercise. 

Her Majesty wrote: “Things I cannot quite seem to convince my kids... That no matter how often you practise, it's never going to be OK for your mother to see you jumping out of a plane”.

The Crown Prince, 19, holds the rank of second lieutenant in the Jordan Armed Forces.

The Queen’s official Facebook page has been sharing more photos and videos of the Royal family.

The video was welcomed by many Facebook users, with Ahmad M. Srour commenting: “A mother a lady a queen god protect. You. And the king and Jordan... respect”.

Oraib Nawash-Salah, another Facebook user, wrote: “May Allah protect him and keep him and keep all kids to their mothers.”

Queen Rania has been active on social media, with the highest number of followers on Twitter in Jordan — over three million — and around two million "likes" on Facebook.

Her Majesty also shares photos on her official Instagram page.
