PSD chief, UN representatives discuss humanitarian services

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah on Wednesday emphasised the importance of enhancing cooperation with United Nations representatives, especially in providing humanitarian services. During a meeting with UN Resident Coordinator Sheri Ritsema-Anderson and Director of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Yahia Khasba, Maaytah underscored the PSD's commitment to establishing partnerships with international and local organisations, and supporting and bolstering their efforts to achieve their goals. He highlighted the positive outcomes of the collaboration and coordination between the PSD and all UN-affiliated organisations. In response, Ritsema-Anderson praised the PSD’s advanced system of work, which aligns with the highest global standards, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
